About these Addins...
On this page we offer some free ul tools in the form of Microsoft Excel addins that we actually use on a daily basis. These are offered free of charge Please note that the examples are all zipped so you will possibly need an unzip program such as Winzip

Formula Converter addin
Quickly convert formulas from Absolute to Relative references. Easy to use user interface (UI). To install the addin open the included installer workbook & follow the instruction. You can then access the tool from Excel's Tools menu, look for excel-it.

AddTOC - Table of Contents
This addin can be used to quickly & simply add a Table of Contents page to any Workbook. It will also add hyperlinks to the Worksheets. The zip file contains the addin and a workbook that can be used to automate the correct installation of this addin.

J & R DatePicker
The
JR_DatePicker is an addin that simplifies adding dates to a cell. It avoids the
problems associated with using ActiveX controls in the earlier version by
creating it's own DatePicker control. The addin can be called either from the
Tools menu or the Right Click Cell Menu. Click on the drop down to display the
Calendar, select a date then click the button with the red tick (check) on
to enter the date to the active cell.
- By default the form opens to the right of the active cell, but can be dragged out of the way with the mouse.
- With newer versions of MS Excel the form is displayed modeless so that you can select another cell to enter a date, older versions will not allow this.
- The date displayed will be the current date unless you select a cell that already contains a date, in which case it will display the cell entered in that cell.
- Double click on the Enter button to display further features - i.e. change the Format of the Date entered and change the Format of all Dates in the active sheet - note:. this will not work on Dates entered by Functions like NOW() & TODAY().
Installation is simple. First extract the two files from the zip file to the same folder. Click JR_InstallDatePicker.xls to open it and follow the instructions to install the addin to the correct addin folder. If you use this installer then the addin will be available whenever you open MS Excel.
